Red, White & Blue Tournament
The Red, White & Blue is a unique event where the 2 Person Team will play 3 different formats for 6 holes each. We will use Scramble, Modified Alternate and Shamble formats.
Scramble Rules; Holes 1-6: The first ball holed out completes the hole. You must use at least one tee shot from each player. Place the selected ball within one club length of the original lie, no closer to the hole, and placed within 6 inches when on the green. Both players play from the selected spot. Repeat this process until the ball is holed out. You may not move onto the green from the collar or onto the fairway from the rough or vice versa (off the green or into the rough).
Modified Alternate Shot; Holes 7-12: Both players tee off on each hole. Select the best shot and the player not selected hits the next shot, alternating through the completion of the hole. You must use at least one tee shot from each player.
Shamble Rules; Holes 13-18: You must use at least one tee shot from each player. Each player hits a tee shot. Select the best shot, and using the same ball placement rules as the scramble, each player will play their own ball through the completion of the hole. Add the two scores together and divide by 2 to get the score for the hole. For example - Player A scores a 6 and Player B scores a 7 the team score is 6.5 (6+7=13 / 2 = 6.5)
