The opening hole of The Creek is a medium length hole that requires accuracy right from the start. The smart play is to key it short of the bunker on the right side of the fairway with something less than a driver. Your second shot will be a mid iron into the green with a bunker guarding front right. If you choose to take driver out, be sure and stay left of the tree in the fairway to avoid going through the fairway right. Placement is not only important here, but throughout your round.
